CELEBRATING 80 YEARS!
In 1941, following the Great Depression, a small group of USPS employees wanted a new way of banking for themselves and their fellow co-workers – one that provided a banking experience that was focused on their financial dreams, not profits.
Having learned about the not-for-profit model of credit unions, they founded Tampa Postal District Federal Credit Union, which was chartered to serve the financial needs of USPS employees and their families in over 37 Florida counties.
80 years later, and we’re proud to continue our philosophy of “people helping people” and serving all the financial needs of our USPS families. We thank you for being a member of the credit union and your support over all these years. We look forward to the many decades still to come!
