What is Shared Branching?

How Does Shared Branching Work?
Using Shared Branching is as simple as performing a transaction at any Tampa Postal branch.
- Find a Shared Branch or Surcharge-Free ATM Near You:
- Provide your Tampa Postal FCU Account # and Valid Photo ID to the Shared Branch credit union teller
- Perform your transaction just as if you were at Tampa Postal FCU
Note: You will be entering a different credit union to perform your transaction. For example, you may enter an Orlando FCU branch to perform your Tampa Postal FCU transaction*. The cooperative nature of credit unions allows this unique program to exist; unlike traditional banks.
How Much Does Shared Branching Cost?
Shared Branching is completely FREE to members of Tampa Postal FCU. Additional charges may apply for extra services.
What Type of Transactions Can I Perform?
You can deposit and withdraw money, transfer funds, make loan payments and more. You cannot apply for a loan, open a new account or add on additional Tampa Postal FCU specific services. You must contact TPCU for these additional services by calling 800.782.4899 or log stop by any Branch Location.
How Do I Sign Up?
All members of Tampa Postal Federal Credit Union are automatically enrolled in Shared Branching. There are no forms to sign. Simply locate a Shared Branch near you and conduct transactions as normal.
*Not all Orlando FCU branches offer Shared Branching. Look up participating Shared Branching branches in your area.
